Ohio Valley Waste Service offers employees the following types of benefits:
1. Full time employment plus potential overtime. Employees are paid at an hourly rate plus time and one-half for overtime hours worked.
2. Work weeks can vary from 5-8 hour days to 4-10 hour days for the  employee’s regular schedule.
3. Health, Eye, Dental, Life, AD&D and short-term disability benefits after waiting period.
4. Eligible for company-provided uniforms after waiting period, if applicable.
5. Eligible for paid time off (PTO) after waiting period.
6. Eligible to participate in 401(k) and receive company contributions after waiting period.

Working Foreman Diesel Mechanic

Diesel Mechanic Foreman
Vogel Disposal is seeking a heavy truck diesel mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy diesel and light trucks. This Mechanic Foreman will also supervise 2-3 mechanics for the second shift. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assess, diagnose, and repair heavy diesel trucks and light trucks. - Typical repairs include but are not limited to: hydraulic, fuel, exhaust, brake, suspension, and electrical systems. - Perform preventative maintenance. - Able to follow written and verbal instructions. - MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum 2 years experience troubleshooting and repairing problems with heavy diesel trucks. - Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots. - Employees must provide their own tools and locking tool box. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to sit/stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, crouch/crawl, and push/pull required. - Ability to lift/carry upwards of 50 lbs. for short distances.
