Ohio Valley Waste Service offers employees the following types of benefits:
1. Full time employment plus potential overtime. Employees are paid at an hourly rate plus time and one-half for overtime hours worked.
2. Work weeks can vary from 5-8 hour days to 4-10 hour days for the  employee’s regular schedule.
3. Health, Eye, Dental, Life, AD&D and short-term disability benefits after waiting period.
4. Eligible for company-provided uniforms after waiting period, if applicable.
5. Eligible for paid time off (PTO) after waiting period.
6. Eligible to participate in 401(k) and receive company contributions after waiting period.

Job Opening Details

Maintenance Electrician
Grove City, PA
Tri-County Industries, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to perform repairs and maintenance on various equipment to maximize safe and productive operations. Responsibilities: • Diagnoses mechanical problems using charts, diagnostic software, technical manuals and expertise. • Able to fix single and 3 phase electrical power, perform mig and stick welding, and work on conveyor, compactor, and baler systems. • Perform preventative maintenance according to standard schedules. • Overhauls or replaces machine components and replace worn items. • Communicates with supervisor for clarification of problems. May discuss preventive techniques with equipment users to minimize future repairs. • Independently troubleshoot and maintain complex electromechanical equipment. • Installs and sets up new equipment and communicate with vendors regarding maintenance schedules. • Follows all safety policies and procedures. • Other job duties as assigned by the Company. Required: • High School diploma or G.E.D. • Minimum of 1 year equipment maintenance and repair experience • Driver’s License • Welding and/or fabrication skills and/or experience. • Employee must adhere to all site safety rules and regulations. Employee will be asked to provide their own safety shoes. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
